Puzzle Description:

It was years--decades, in fact--before I finally accepted the majority opinion and acknowledged that this album is probably as good as its reputation.

Making puzzles of rock and roll songs, I failed to appreciate how often I would be making pictures of hearts, and of California. This puzzle has both!

Okay, since that's Hotel California (album named the same), then the others must be "Life in the fast lane", "Pretty Maids all in a row", and "Victim of love"

I have never heard Pretty Maids before. Sorry, Joe (Walsh)

What's funny is I just got back from a trip where my wife took me to Los Angeles to celebrate my birthday. So I wasn't around when you posted your most recent puzzles, but was experiencing hearts and California regardless :P

Well happy birthday David. I did notice fewer of your playfully cryptically comments recently. The Hotel California album gave us two major hits, "Hotel Caalifornia" and "Life in the Fast Lane", which I am still able to enjoy although they have been PLAYED TO DEATH (the scourge of Classic Rock radio), plus, what I consider to be far and away the best song that The Eagles ever recorded, "The Last Resort". Magnificently crafted song, melody and especially lyrically. The rest of the album...more bland Eagles stuff. They have never been a group I particularly cared for.
