Love the concept, and the cleverness of using the idea for a simple but funny picture!#4: Angel Carol (thab) on Apr 5, 2023
No, they don't. Yellow is a primary.#5: Koreen (mom24plus) on Apr 5, 2023

Well if it's red and green light, then maybe that does make yellow? I know how mixing colors work but not so sure how it works when it's light/reflected or whatever is going on there.#8: Koreen (mom24plus) on Apr 5, 2023 [SPOILER]

Thanks, Koreen. As soon as I saws this I figured he had some kind tongue in cheek in mind.#10: Tom Siebert (tsiebert) on Apr 5, 2023
Red, blue and yellow are primary. Green (B/Y), orange (R/Y) and purple (B/R) are secondary. At least that's how it is with pigments. Light is different. Cute idea, but where you're going for yellow, I see Christmas.#11: Brenda Barnes Jamieson (bbj) on Apr 7, 2023 [SPOILER]

Yes: when you mix light, red and green make yellow. (Red and blue make magenta, and green and blue make cyan. That's why printer ink comes in yellow, magenta, and cyan.)#13: Joe (infrapinklizzard) on Mar 4, 2026 [SPOILER]
If anyone is interested, I created a series of puzzles using afterimages of blue to get yellow. I included "yellow" in the title of each, for ease of searching. (userID kristen, and title yellow)
