So many people have asked and continue to ask that question, I believe the answer is in you.

I was just trying to come up with a title that didn't give it all away.

Okay - what you wrote translated by my limited memory is something like this: " It is good enough. I, also speak just a little German. My mother and father did something in Germany, then emigrated (that's a guess) and I was the first child born here (I assume USA). I also had German in high school although I have left most of it behind (or forgotten it)".

Hope I was close.

I didn't know what the title of the puzzle meant. I recognized the language and wanted to check it out.

Jota, you stole my answer. :-)

Well, it was the right answer ...

I liked this version of a familiar scene- thank you.

Hi Levi.
The title translates (roughly) to "The small city of the Heavenly King."
Your translation of my other comment is good enough. The part in the middle says that both my parents immigrated from Germany and, yes, I was born in the US. I've forgotten much of the German I knew but can carry on a conversation when pushed. <smile>
#12: Merili (merilinnuke) on Dec 26, 2008 [HINT] [SPOILER]
"Die kleine Stadt der heilige König" - "The little/small city of the holy king" (German lessons from 5th grade to 12th, English from 3rd to 12th) :)
