My favorite middle school teacher (and probably top 5 teachers of all time) used to show us the Mr. Bill shorts...along with other comedy videos. I remember Steven Wright and Emo Philips being among them. Oh, he also taught us some Earth Science in between. Mr. Peter Bice, if you ever read this, you were one of the best!
