Puzzle Description:

Someone claimed to have seen three.

#1: Brian Bellis (mootpoint) on Feb 23, 2018 [SPOILER]

Are 3 Sasquatches called Big Foot, Big Feet, Big Foots, or Big Yard?
#2: Kristen Vognild (kristen) on Feb 23, 2018 [SPOILER]
Well, if it's a proper name, they'd be Bigfoots. Since my family is the Coolmans, no matter how much I'd like it to be the Coolmen. Unless it's like Yeti, which in plural I think is still Yeti.

If it's just a description, I'm rather fond of the Big Yard. Conversion rates are important!

There's also the copout of Bigfoot Monsters.
#3: Brian Bellis (mootpoint) on Feb 23, 2018 [SPOILER]
Would the singular be Yeto?
#4: N. Franklin (kaytris) on Feb 23, 2018
Octopi - octopus
Yeti- yetus
#5: Norma Dee (norm0908) on Feb 23, 2018
Are their children call little Bigfooties?
#6: Brian Bellis (mootpoint) on Feb 23, 2018
Littlefoots
#7: Aurelian Ginkgo (AurelianGinkgo) on Feb 23, 2018 [SPOILER]
So I have heard "expert" bigfoot trackers call them bigfoots. I, too, however, like 3 bigfoots converted into a bigyard.

Also, since yeti is an Asian word (from Nepal?), I'm pretty sure the plural is yeti.
#8: Bruce Yanoshek (yanogator) on Feb 24, 2018
But, N. Franklin, octopi isn't the correct plural of octopus, since it's from Greek, not Latin. The plural is either octopuses or octopodes.
#9: Joe (infrapinklizzard) on Feb 24, 2018 [SPOILER]
Unless they were in Canada - then they would be .9144 Bigmeters.
#10: Norma Dee (norm0908) on Feb 24, 2018
By the time somebody said, "Look! some .9144 Bigmeters" they would be looong gone. :)
#11: Harry Plantinga (hplan) on Feb 28, 2018
I love this conversation!
#12: Joe (infrapinklizzard) on Feb 28, 2018 [SPOILER]
So, they would have hoofed it? And at a conversion rate of 1 hoof/toe that would make it 30 Bighooves.
#13: Kristen Vognild (kristen) on Mar 1, 2018
Norma, I think their young are called Li'l Footsies. Also accepted is Bigfeetsies.
#14: Norma Dee (norm0908) on Mar 1, 2018
:)
#15: Tigger221 (sspell) on Mar 4, 2018
Hey Kristen! My family's name is Spellman. A little boy across the street used to call me Mrs. Spell-Lady! I thought it made sense!
#16: Norma Dee (norm0908) on Mar 4, 2018
:)
#17: Kristen Vognild (kristen) on Mar 5, 2018
Cute :)
#18: Susan Duncan (medic25733) on Mar 9, 2018
Funny everyone :)
#19: Yonah Kondor (yokon965) on May 15, 2023 [SPOILER]
I, too, enjoyed reading this conversions conversation, and would like to add that three Bigfoots would be hard to by shoes for.
#20: BRASH ATAOM (BRASHatAOM) on May 15, 2023
That's why most of them wear flip flops.
#21: BRASH ATAOM (BRASHatAOM) on May 15, 2023
Maybe it was a family unit. And you know how to tell which one is the child?

The tallest one, since s/he is a little bigger than the others....
