This one hits close to home Norma. I had a very good friend who was in need of nothing,yet he would constantly shoplift. He got caught stealing a dollar candy bar once at the grocery store that he shopped at. He was fined $500.00 dollars and never allowed to go back at that store. It still didn't cure him. Good one Norma.:)

I once busted an 80 yr. old who hid jewelry under the cushion of his wheelchair. I was surprised when the police released him and he got into his Bentley.

Quite a few movie stars, Winona Rider for one, have been caught. It seems to be a difficult problem to deal with.

there are several apt complexes all grouped near each other that some jackass was hitting some years ago. guess it was a one-stop shop, lots of cars parked for the night that the guy could go after. the guy ended up living in an apt across the rd, and had a room full of stolen goods that the cops couldn't prove weren't his...til they came across a set of darts with distinguishable flights. only thing he took from my car were those darts, and he got screwed with the whole room full of stereos and whatnot cuz he was too lazy to change out a set of $2 flights

I got my Mickey Mouse watch from a Zayre's, back in the '80s.

I solved the right side first, so I figured you would steal so you can get the groceries back to the TARDIS. It must be hard to have currency on hand for every civilization on every planet, past present and future.

It's like wherever they go in SF movies, everybody speaks English.
