Thx auntie Linda,Halloween wasn't the greatest,it was cold and raining hard,one of our boys has the croup so he didn't want to stay out long,their was fireworks going off at the town arena park,and when we got there it was done. It was suppose to be starting at 8 o'clock and we heard them going off at 7:45. We rushed there but missed them. The kids were disappointed. By the way Linda,I thought of another great older band that you might know. I started listening to some of my old OMD(Orchestral Maneuvers in the Dark).They're on the popish side but there's a strong jazz influence in the brass section. If you haven't heard of them you might want to check them out,or re-acquaint yourself with them if you have heard them.:)

and I just listened to "if you leave" which of course had HUGE radio play. this took me straight back to the 80's and some very fun times I had then. now I want to listen to some techno...

It was still fun trick or treating with Destyny,and as far as I'm concerned they got more than enough candy,it's just too bad it was raining so hard. I was listening to The Pacific Age CD of OMD,and the first 4 songs all have jazz influence brass arrangements. You'll find a lot in Beautiful South and The Housemartins as well. I'm presuming that you were probably a big Chicago and Blood Sweat & Tears fan as well Linda. Maybe even Lighthouse.:)

i'm such a HUGE Chicago fan it ain't even funny! their horn section rocked. so did the horn sections of earth wind & fire and LTD (check out ltd's "back in love again" for some serious horns). now I have to check out lighthouse. thanks for all of these new (and revisited) band mentions. makes for some really good listening!

And thank you,I just listened to "Back in love again",awesome horn section. Lighthouse was a 13 piece Canadian band. I saw them a couple of times at the Palace theatre. They were awesome. When I was a teen,I played bass guitar in a 7 piece band. We had a 3 piece brass section that included a trumpet,alto sax,and trombone. We played a lot of Chicago,Blood Sweat& Tears,and Lighthouse. It was the biggest thrill in my life playing in that band.:)

For the longest time I figured it was Joseph, but then couldn’t figure out why there was modern house in the image. I thought maybe he was looking for an inn for Mary. Good puzzle using colour logic. Thanks
