One of those failed moments. I should have removed it. It was supposed to be a book for "Story". Oh, well.

My first thought was something to do with a broken compass - with west and east reversed.

I like it as it is, but I think the image could be improved. If you remove the book, switch west and east to their proper sides, (and reverse the arrow); you could move put the man left and down, so that he is using the E as a ladder (to come up to her balcony). (The dance in the gym is a defining moment for this movie, but it is a common scene in many movies - the balcony scene is less common to other movies and shows that the roots of the (west side) story was Romeo and Jouliet.

For pity sake, Norma. East is east and west is west. Good catch John. You have such good ideas for this, you should make a puzzle.
