Forgot to mention that the GRAND PRIZE WINNER receives ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!!!

Well, Tom. I see the rating idiot(s) did the same to you as they did me by going the other direction on the ratings.
#3: Tom King (sgusa) on Jan 4, 2013
I am kind of proud of this puzzle. For the grid size, I think it turned out very recognizable (of course, I may be delusional). As far as difficulty, I feel a 4 is too high, but it will adjust...
#4: Ruby Hammer (rubyqhammer) on Jan 4, 2013
I solved it. maybe a 2 would be better. My guess is Gene Wilder in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.

Tom, as I said in one of my puzzles, I saw this puzzle shortly after you posted it and saw the 4 for quality and the 4 for difficulty. There were NO solvers and ONE rater, so you know they have decided to mess with the ratings going high instead of low.

I didn't have a chance to solve it as I had to leave, but will check it out.

Ruby, being a bit technical here... That is the name of the book.
#7: Aldege Cholette (aldege) on Jan 4, 2013
I have no idea Tom,but a cool image.:)
#8: Norma Dee (norm0908) on Jan 4, 2013
Great puzzle, Tom. One of the Narnia movies?
#9: Kurt Kowalczyk (bahabro) on Jan 4, 2013
Willy Wonka and the chocolate factory..... great guess Ruby!
#10: Tom King (sgusa) on Jan 4, 2013
CONGRATULATIONS, Ruby!!! You are the GRAND PRIZE WINNER of ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!!! You may wish to share some nothingness with Kurt ;)
#11: Ruby Hammer (rubyqhammer) on Jan 4, 2013
Haha...thanks. I loved that movie as a child and recently watched it with my kids. Much better than the newer version in my opinion. I have read the book, although many, many years ago. Took a guess and got it a little wrong. Oh well, I will share my prize with Kurt!

I could totally recognize Gene Wilder in this picture. It has an amazing likeness.
#13: Kurt Kowalczyk (bahabro) on Jan 5, 2013
naw naw...keep it, you deserve it! I've got plenty of nothing.... you did all the heavy lifting
#14: Tom King (sgusa) on Jan 5, 2013
Thanks everyone!
#15: Teresa K (fasstar) on Jan 6, 2013
I really like this one, King. I think it is quite recognizable, the best of the series.
#16: Tom King (sgusa) on Jan 6, 2013
Thanks, Teresa. The others were thoughts I put to screen that were far from recognizable, but fun solves,
#17: Tom O'Connell (sensei69) on Jan 7, 2013 [SPOILER]
Gene Wilder for sure :)
#18: Tom King (sgusa) on Jan 7, 2013
Thanks, Tom
#19: JoDeen Mozena (ozymoe) on Jan 7, 2013 [SPOILER]
Awesome how Gene Wilder just jumps out!
#20: Tom King (sgusa) on Jan 7, 2013
Thanks, JoDeen. The rest were all trials.

You know why the movie was named "Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory" instead of "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory?" Because Nestle financed the film to promote a launch of their new line of "Wonka" candies. So I guess it's actually just one of the best advertisement films ever made.
#22: Kristen Vognild (Kristen) on Sep 18, 2013 [SPOILER]
Everyone should read "Boy," Roald Dahl's autobiography. He describes a couple of inspirations for Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. First, when he was at boarding school, he would receive regular boxes from Cadbury Chocolate. These contained new candy bars that they were trying out, and they wanted their target consumers to try the new bars and write honest reviews of each one. Young Roald took this duty very seriously, and it planted the seed of writing about an inventor of chocolates.

The other inspiration is a terrific story about a sweet shop Roald visited while walking home from school each day, the horrid woman who ran it, and his friends' plan to take their revenge. I won't spoil it, but it'll make you laugh and cringe all at once.

This image is very recognizable, but most of the others in this series not so much for me. I don't watch a lot of movies, and maybe saw this one once a log time ago.
