very unexpected puzzle! I didn't get it until I read your after solve statement. Thanks for a great puzzle. I too was excited about Curiosity.

Thanks, Jen! I'm bummed today, because the team at JPL isn't doing their usual press release. I'm forced to watch a kids' show on the NASA channel, in hopes they'll come on later.

Our "science" channels have reality shows ("reality" shows I should say) and shows on ghosts...

sigh.

The great thing about NASA TV is that it's FTA (free to air). You just need to point a dish in the right direction and you can pick it up. On their website they tell you the altitude and azimuth and everything.

Cool! I have a cupboard full of dishes.
