I find it hard to think of playing ping pong outdoors - the ball is so light that the slightest breeze would affect its movement drastically.

Of course, we used to play in the house when our former cat was a kitten, He would get up onto the table and "hide" behind the net - jumping out to swat at the ball whenever it came close to him. That same kitten used to climb up into the (artificial) Christmas tree and sleep on the branches - fortunately he stopped doing that by the next year when he was grown because he was part Maine Coon and weighed over 20 pounds, bigger than a number of the dogs in the neighbourhood.
