I've been working on a couple of puzzles that are difficult for me. I want to keep the partial solution I have, but I'd really like to start over and be able to save this alternate solution as I go along.#2: m2 (mercymercy) on May 28, 2009
The only way I've thought of to do this is by creating another login. Which I did, but then forgot my password.
So my two questions are:
1) is there a way of saving more than one version of a partial solution?
2) how do I find out what my password is (I would feel guilty about creating another alternate account)
Jan - thanks for this site. I love it. Judy
One simple alternative is to press print screen and save the image in a document. This of course is only practical for smaller puzzles.#3: judy (jbreese) on May 28, 2009
Thanks m2. This might be enough to do the trick.#4: Laura (Sunidesus) on Jun 7, 2009
I only do smaller puzzles because I'm on a laptop and have "older" eyes, so anything past 40 x 40 is usually too much.
Don't have a printer right now, either. Printing it out might have been a reasonable workaround, too.
You could do a "print screen" and save the resulting image as a jpg or gif. That would be similar to the printing workaround but doesn't require the use of a printer!
